Additionally, there is also a Roots supercharger attached to the engine that can be manually engaged or automatically activated. This allows for a maximum power output of up to 180 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque.
Furthermore, the 540K also comes equipped witH a four-speed or optional five-speed manual gearbox that features synchromesh on the top three gears. On top of this, Mercedes’s signature vacuum-assisted hydraulic brakes provide further control and confidence when driving in difficult conditions.
