The XRS 7200 expedition vehicle is a luxury all-wheel-drive motorhome that presents clear-cut lines, optimum functionality in off-road terrain, and an exclusive, homely atmosphere – all this in a motorhome perfect for globe cruises. Even the driver’s cabin has been remodeled. The result: sheer driving pleasure.
The 18-tonne XRS 7200 is a truck-shaped camping van with a 720 HP engine, an interior area of 23 square meters, and all the gear to handle challenging times (and more) in complete safety!
This vehicle is supposed to provide all of the comforts of home. It certainly does so. There’s even an induction oven in the bathroom! A refrigerator cabinet, freezer, drawers, and plates are among the kitchenware available.
The restroom appears to be correct in size and is suited for something like this. It reminds me of the airplane units, albeit considerably larger. I haven’t heard anything about or seen a shower, which leads me to believe it’s probably outside.
The camper is available in three models, each with two, three, or four axles for the wheels. If you believe that this camper van is a hard sell, Stephan Wirths, CEO of Action Mobil, will refute you: “so far 300 of these armored campers have been sold, the commercial success of about 250 million euros“.
Two sources of energy can help you go for long periods of time off-road. The 5,000-watt inverter and 720Ah lithium-ion battery on this vehicle allow it to be powered from the grid while you’re driving. With a 1,440-watt solar panel on the roof, you’ll have no trouble charging your battery if you run out of power. This vehicle is prepared for excursions deep into the backwoods or serious off-the-grid living.
The boxy exterior hides a heavy-duty grade chassis, as well as a rack for your bike or the XRS 7200 can also accommodate a Suzuki Jimny since it’s easier to park than this apartment on six wheels.
